Waiting is perhaps the
hardest part.
You pray incessantly for a breakthrough, but it seems that He is deaf. You ask Him repeatedly if He’s there. After crying on your knees, you can’t help but ask for an embrace and an assurance that He’s really listening.
Then you realize, it is in waiting that we get to have our faith tested, or perhaps, strengthened.

I have grand plans. But when things get tough or turn out differently from
what I had hoped for, it’s easy to be caught in a rumination cycle.
Every time that I get
very frustrated, however, I am reminded that everything will fall into perfect
place. Every single time that I feel like giving up, He creates small miracles
that tell me He has a beautiful plan for me and He is always listening so I
need not have everything figured out.
In fact, another surprise
happened just this week. The past few days I was praying to receive just a
single piece of rose. But God surprised me with a big bouquet instead. Ahh, You
know how to calm me down, don’t You?
Also, while making a
difficult decision weeks ago, I was greeted with a rainbow. Dear God, I can’t
help but be amazed on how You converse with me through your creations. I might
not understand your wisdom, but I know I can trust in your will.
With all these, I know
my prayers will be answered in Your most perfect time. Kaya ngayon, I will just
let God and life surprise me more! I love You very very much, Lord. Help me to
trust in You more J
